School is out and summer is here! The weather has been heating up and these fresh Watermelon Popsicles make a great treat for a hot summer day.
This is a fun and super easy recipe for kids to make since there is just one ingredient…watermelon! Watermelons have been known to grow for over 4000 years. Pictures of watermelons were even found in King Tut’s tomb in Egypt!
They contain a lot of L-citrulline, which is a nutrient that helps repair your muscles and relieve soreness. It’s also very hydrating because it is full of water…about 92%. So this is a great fruit to eat after you play sports. Lycopene is what makes it red and is great for your bones and helps you grow.
