Kale Hummus

Talia’s favorite color is green and kale is a great way to make things green! We love having this hummus in the refrigerator for a quick, healthy snack after camp or school.

Kale has super green powers! It is filled with oodles of nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins. It has more iron than beef and more calcium than milk. It helps to build up your cells and bones.

Chickpeas are in the legume family. They are high in protein and folate, which help build your tissues, brain cells and muscles. They help to make you smarter and stronger.

 This recipe is easy and fun to make. We hope you enjoy this yummy Kale Hummus as much as we do!

Kale Hummus
A healthy afternoon snack. Use it as a dip or a sandwich spread.

Ingredients
  1. 2 cups organic kale
  2. 1 can organic chickpeas (or sprouted)
  3. 1/4 cup tahini
  4. 1/4 cup olive oil
  5. The juice of 1 lemon
  6. 3 cloves of garlic
  7. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  8. Lots of Love
Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until creamy.
  2. Voila!
